Blueberry Park family photos Bremerton families love thrive among the tall trees and open green space. The towering canopy filters light beautifully on bright days, and the wide lawns give kids room to roam. It is a quiet, central spot that feels natural and unhurried for the whole family.
Some of my favorite family sessions happen at the quieter neighborhood parks, and Blueberry Park in East Bremerton is a gem. With looping walking trails, a community garden, mature trees, and a playground the kids actually want to stay at, it is relaxed, low key, and full of natural backdrops. Here is how to plan family photos here and make the most of it.

Blueberry Park is a 6.9 acre neighborhood park at 737 Sylvan Way in Bremerton, Washington. It has its own parking, restrooms, and a drinking fountain, and leashed dogs are welcome, so it is easy to visit with the whole family.
This park is wonderfully unhurried. A well maintained perimeter trail winds past benches and trees, the community P patch garden adds greenery and seasonal color, and there is plenty of soft, shaded light. It is rarely crowded, which means we can move at your kids’ pace and catch real, candid moments without an audience.
Aim for the couple of hours before sunset for warm, soft light, or come on an overcast day for even, flattering light all afternoon. Let the kids burn off energy on the playground first, then we will use the trails and garden for relaxed portraits. Wear soft, coordinated colors, our family style guide helps.
Is there parking and restrooms? Yes, the park has its own parking lot and public restrooms.
Can we bring our dog? Yes, leashed dogs are welcome, and there is a dog bag station on site.
What if it rains? We can use the picnic shelters or the tree canopy, or reschedule. Soft cloud cover often makes photos better.
