A Fall Family Session at Manchester State Park
The Ram family met me at Manchester State Park on a crisp fall afternoon, surrounded by rich Pacific Northwest color and soft coastal light. Autumn in Kitsap County shows off: the leaves turn, the air sharpens, and the old battery archways frame everything beautifully. We kept it moving, kept it playful, and walked away with portraits that show exactly how much this crew loves each other.

Some sessions carry a little more weight. Lindsay's son was back in town, and this was one of those rare windows when everyone could finally be in the same place at the same time. We started at the house, where the light was soft and familiar, then made our way down to Scenic Beach State Park as the sun dropped toward the water. Evenings like that do not need much directing. Just everyone together, golden light over Hood Canal, and photos that will matter more every single year.

The Bass family session started as a school fundraiser purchase and turned into a beautiful spring afternoon at Scenic Beach State Park. The sun was bright, daisies were blooming, and the blue water stretched toward the Olympic Mountains. Ellen and her crew spent the afternoon laughing through a season that moves fast when you are in the middle of raising a family. Not bad for something that started at a school fundraiser table.

During our planning call, we'll pick the location, nail down timing, and build your custom mood board, usually one classic look and one dressy look, so outfits are decided long before session day. You'll walk away with a clear plan and zero guesswork.

Between booking and session day, the details run themselves. Your custom mood board arrives, reminders keep everything on track, and I watch the weather and the light so we can adjust before you ever have to think about it. If a toddler melts down or the sky opens up, we adapt. The plan serves your family, not the other way around.

On session day, your only job is showing up. I call out every pose so the adults never feel lost, and I keep it a game for the kids, so the real smiles come out on their own. We get the classic portraits for the wall and the candid ones that are pure you.

Your Reveal and Ordering Appointment. About two weeks after your session, we'll meet for a private reveal and ordering appointment. You'll see your finished portraits for the first time, pick your favorites, and choose the 11x16 fine art print that comes included with your session, a $300 value. Our reveal team will walk you through wall art and artwork collections so your favorite images end up on your walls instead of lost on a hard drive. There is never a minimum purchase.

When Is The Best Time Of Year For Family Photos In Bremerton?
I really enjoyed our family photos with Nautical Moments. I was worried about the location I chose not having enough different places to full an hour but Ben was able to add a few extra spots and even got some candid unexpected shots. My baby may be photogenic, but my husband and I are a bit awkward. Ben kept everything light and it helped a lot. We started just needing some pictures for cards but I'm glad we went with the full photo shoot.
